About Me

Aurora, Ontario, Canada
I am a lover of all things created, history, travel, art and literature. I spend my time with family and friends, working hard and creating things, pretty much in that order. My passion is to make beautiful things to wear, mostly accessories, jewelry, belts, clutches, hair adornments, brooches etc. I create mostly using fabric , fibres, metals, jewels, pins, chain, clips, buttons and more. I have a shop on Etsy.com which I sometimes have a little trouble maintaining depending on the time of year and how busy I am. Check out my Etsy Shop www.etsy.com/shop/dressedtothe9s or click on the box on the left to go directly there.

Art-O-Matic Vending Machines

This morning I was thrilled to find on the blog of one of my new followers a fantastic article on Art-O-Matic which I had no idea existed, not surprising of course.
I am adding a link to her blog and the article so you can read it for yourself and pay a visit to the website.

The idea is that old cigarette machines have been converted to carry individuals art that have been submitted for approval.
Cursive Arts is one of those artists.
There is a huge variety of art including jewelry, sculpture, canvas art, carvings and so much more. Check out the website yourself to see submission guidelines and find out where you can find one of these machines.
So unusual and so inspiring.

  1. We had one of these at the museum I used to work at in Indy. It was so cool and pretty popular. Everytime I walked by it, I had to peek in and see if there was anything new in stock. :)
